John Cratchley Vandermark studied film, I believe, and is also a fine photographer, so I find it natural to ascribe a visual element to his music...I think it also has a prescient mise en scene...this piece named for Kiarostami's film of the same name (1990) is enthralling and benefits from KV's long-standing partnership with Marhaug.
